As the Director of Marketing and Design for the New Zealand Festival of Squash 2022 - 2023, I volunteered to lead the branding, design and marketing efforts for the event.

I was responsible for designing the festival's branding and executing content creation, marketing, and social media strategies for the New Zealand Open, Nations Cup, Oceania Junior Championship and the prestigous WSF Men’s World Squash Championship tournaments. Additionally, I took on the role of official photographer for the tournament.

Collaborating with international key stakeholders including world squash organisations, tourism boards, and major sponsors required effective communication across multiple countries and time zones.

The 2022 festival achieved impressive international metrics, including live coverage by Sky Sport NZ, footage distribution to global news organizations, over 50K live and VOD plays, and media coverage in 173 global articles/radio mentions, with an estimated advertising value equivalency of $747K and a potential audience reach of over 81M. Additionally, social media engagement was high, with over 2M unique users reached on Facebook, 500K impressions on Twitter, and 250K views on YouTube.
